How do I know if my roof needs repaired/replaced?
Sometimes the signs are obvious, like when you have a big water stain on your living room ceiling. Ideally, you want to catch the problem before it gets to that point, when the signs are less obvious. What kind of Guarantee do you offer?
Rustemeyer Roofing guarantees the worksmanship on your roof for 6 years. If you have a leak, blown off shingles, or problems with the roof decking due to installation*, we'll fix it at no cost to you. Rustemeyer Roofing is local to Central Missouri; we're easily accessible and will be around to fix any problems you have, unlike some out of area companies or storm chasers. Additionally, if the problem is due to defective shingles, we will assist you with making a claim on the Manufacturers Warranty.
*Please note that damage to shingles due to extreme weather or other causes unrelated to installation are not covered by this guarantee.
How much will my roof cost?
The cost of a roof can vary widely based on a number of factors, (size, pitch, existing layers of shingles, hips, valleys, etc), so it is always best to get an estimate based on actual measurements of your roof. What's a Manufacturer's Warranty?
Almost all shingle manufacturers guarantee that their product will be free of defects and will perform as specified for the shingle's given lifetime. Shingles' lifetimes range from 25 years to 50 or more; most warranties offer a 100% guarantee for the first 10years and prorate from there. It is important to remember that the guarantee covers only defective shingles; problems due to improper installation will not be covered and could void the warranty. This is why it's so important to hire a roofer that guarantees the workmanship and installation of your roof.

Warranty Info Continued
While most shingles come with a standard warranty, many manufacturers require you to register your new roof for the warranty. Rustemeyer Roofing will assist you in this registration, and will help you make a claim if needed. Be sure to retain your invoice after installation, as the manufacturer will require it if you ever do need to make a claim.
What kind of Shingles do you use?
We have had very good experiences with Owens Corning, and have also used CertainTeed, GAF, Tamko, and Malarkey. We are happy to work with whatever shingles suit your preferance or budget.
What do you do with the old Shingles?
The roofing industry has a heavy footprint on the environment, and Rustemeyer Roofing strives to be as ecofriendly as possible. We take much of our used shingles to an asphalt plant, where they are recycled into the mixture used to make asphalt roads. However, sometimes the distance from the job to the recycling plant is too great to recycle unless by your special request.
